In AHA4Attica collaborating institutions aim to
To map the situation in the region of Attica and contribute with constructive proposals for the prevention and promotion of health and active ageing
To participate more actively in European activities related to active ageing.
To promote and prevent active ageing as a prerequisite for active ageing
The creation of a space that will allow all stakeholders to work together to develop innovative solutions for active ageing.
To support health and care providers to adopt innovative practices related to active ageing.
To actively contribute to the development of regional strategies for the use of innovations in active ageing.
To create a strong and reliable network of actors to be activated in the relevant EU funding programmes.
We believe that the specific Reference Centre will help the wider region of Attica to become a model for the future, a zone for the implementation of innovations related to prevention and active ageing, since the Attica Reference Centre Reference Site (AHA4Attica) will become part of regional and local
organisations, which have demonstrated comprehensive and thorough strategies for promoting innovation and understanding and addressing the challenges of providing health and care services in the ageing population.
Appropriate infrastructures have been developed and are at the service of public bodies, hospitals and other end-users in the wider European region. More specifically, the AHA4Attica research activities include:
the development of web services and technologies to support health care and the development of new services and technologies to support health care services.
healthcare support, the provision of electronic health records (EHR), the development of home care applications, IoT integration, and the development of web services for healthcare support.
technologies to support living, building AI applications for healthcare purposes, using multispectral
technologies for health prevention and creating biometric applications.
